Dell Streak To Get Android 2.2 Froyo Update By Year End

Dell has released an official statement saying that it will update its Streak Android smartphone with Android 2.2 "Froyo" by the end of the year. In August Dell said that it would update the phone from 1.6 to 2.2 but did not provide a timeframe. It looks like Streak owners can look forward to an update in the coming months. "I can tell you that our target date is NOT December 31. In fact, the over-the-air update to 2.2 target date is much sooner than that," a Dell employee said on the Dell support forums.

@Gerry, 2.1 or 1.6 anything there will be solution to install froyo in streak.
